At Mondo Spechim, environmental protection is at the heart of our commitment. From component selection to sustainable development projects, we strive for user- and planet-friendly products, such as bio-enzymatic solutions developed for maintenance and effluent treatment, among others.

In 2021, we unified our commitments to corporate social responsibility and sustainability within a unique CSR program, thereby strengthening our efforts in this area.

Environment
We aspire to make each new product more sustainable than its predecessor. Our approach prioritizes green chemistry in the formulation and manufacturing of our products. Additionally, we offer responsible packaging, including refillable jerrycans with dosing caps, to reduce the use of single-use plastic jerrycans and overconsumption.

Social
The health, well-being, and safety of our staff are at the heart of our concerns. In our recruitment practices, we advocate for dignity and equality for all, eliminating any form of discrimination. We offer a training program for new recruits as well as upgrades for existing staff.

Governance
Our values and vision are expressed through our strategy and decision-making processes. The board of directors defines the group's strategy and ensures general management, with the mission of guaranteeing the company's long-term success.
Carbon footprint
It is an essential element of management focused on sustainable development and the environment.
In 2022, in collaboration with UCL, we launched a project to calculate our carbon footprint. This report highlights that the two main sources of CO2 emissions are “Purchases” and “Transport,” which together account for 90% of our emissions. By 2027, we are committed to making significant improvements in these two priority areas.
